David M. Daly
David M. Daly was named executive advisor in June 2021, providing expert consultation and support in areas such as clean energy, business planning, and other strategic projects. He will be retiring at the end of 2021 after 35 years of service.
From October 2017 to June 2021, Mr. Daly was president of Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G). Previously, he served as president and chief operating officer - PSEG Utilities and Clean Energy Ventures with oversight of the company’s utility operations as well as development of its clean energy and renewable generation business. He also served as president and COO of PSEG Long Island, vice president - asset management and centralized services, and vice president of energy acquisition and technology.
Since joining PSE&G in 1983, Mr. Daly has held a variety of positions in operations and support services, including fossil generation plant operations, utility operations services, electric transmission planning, and corporate strategy. He also served as a senior consultant at several industry consulting firms earlier in his career.
Mr. Daly received his electrical engineering degree from the State University of New York Maritime College, and a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University. He serves on the boards of the American Gas Association, the New Jersey Utilities Association, Liberty Science Center, St. Vincent Academy and Saint Elizabeth University.
