PSE&G Continues Commitment to Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions During National Drive Electric Week

Empowering Consumers with the Tools and Information to Drive Electric as PSE&G Hits Major Milestones in EV Infrastructure

(NEWARK, NJ - September 26, 2024) – In support of National Drive Electric Week (NDEW), which takes place Sept. 27 through Oct. 6, 2024, PSE&G is proud to announce the launch of EV Adviser, a new online resource designed to provide consumers with comprehensive information on electric vehicles (EVs). PSE&G is committed to supporting the transition to clean energy and ensuring that EV buyers have the tools they need to make informed decisions about EV adoption.

The EV Adviser microsite serves as a learning tool for consumers who are considering the switch to electric vehicles. It offers valuable information and insights regarding the benefits of driving electric, available EV models, charging options, and breakdowns on incentives. This launch is a critical component of PSE&G’s broader initiative to grow understanding of EVs by making reliable information accessible to all.

“The launch of our EV Adviser exhibits PSE&G’s support of EV growth in the state. As we reach significant points in the rollout of the charging network, we are equally focused on providing people with the resources they need to make confident and informed decisions on EV technology,” says PSE&G’s Dawn Neville, manager, Electric Transportation.

As of July 2024, PSE&G has energized over 16,000 EV chargers across its service areas, with an additional 700 chargers added monthly. This achievement marks a significant milestone, as PSE&G has reached the halfway point towards its goal of expanding the EV charging network and reducing carbon emissions.

“Our ongoing efforts to support the large-scale deployment of EV charging stations and educate the public demonstrate our commitment to fostering the growth of transportation electrification in New Jersey,” said Susanna Chiu, senior director, Renewables and Energy Solutions at PSE&G. “By driving awareness, we’re encouraging more individuals to explore the benefits of EVs and join us in creating a cleaner future.”

To further celebrate NDEW and promote EV awareness, PSE&G is sponsoring several events across New Jersey. These events provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about electric vehicles, interact with industry experts, and experience the benefits of driving electric firsthand.
