PSEG Welcomes Wesley Mathews as Vice President for State Government Affairs

(Newark, NJ – Oct. 31, 2025) – PSEG welcomes Wesley (Wes) Mathews as vice president for state government affairs at PSEG in the corporate citizenship organization. In this role, Mathews will oversee both state and regional governmental affairs and report to Senior Executive Team member Rick Thigpen, senior vice president for Corporate Citizenship.

Most recently, Mathews was president & chief executive officer at Choose New Jersey. Prior to that, Mathews was a career diplomat in the U.S. Foreign Service where he focused on strengthening U.S. economic and commercial interests.
