PSE&G Named A Most Trusted Brand Among Utilities

(NEWARK, N.J. – July 2, 2019) PSE&G has been named a Most Trusted Brand for the third year in a row by business electric and natural gas customers according to Escalent, a top human behavior and analytics firm. PSE&G was one of 20 companies named nationally to the list and one of three named in the East Region.
Escalent surveyed 12,577 business electric and natural gas customers of the 78 largest U.S. utility companies based on customer count. PSE&G achieved a score of 792 (on a 1,000 maximum scale) and ranked second among combined utilities in the East Region. PSE&G’s score was 9 points higher than in 2018.

New research from Escalent finds that 69% of U.S. businesses believe their local economy will grow in the next year, 72% expect an increase in their revenue over the same period, and 65% are planning expansions of their businesses. This presents a significant opportunity for utilities to deliver energy management advice and programs to help businesses succeed and to become part of the fabric of the local economy.
