Cool Customer Program
PSE&G Discontinued the Cool Customer Program as of May 31, 2018.
Cool Customer was a voluntary program that allowed PSE&G to remotely cycle a program participant’s central air conditioner on and off during times of high energy demand.
- If you were a Cool Customer Program participant who was receiving a bill credit during the months of June, July, August and September, those credits were discontinued effective with your June 2018 PSE&G bill.
- If you were a Cool Customer Program participant who received a one-time bill credit and a free programmable thermostat, you can keep the device, which will still function normally. However, you will be responsible for any future repair or replacement of the thermostat if needed.
