B.P.U.N.J. No. 16 (November 1, 2018 – March 31, 2024)

Effective 03/01/2024 Implementation of a Tariff change effective on and after March 1, 2024, as per Board approval of the 2023 Tax Adjustment Credits (TAC).
Effective 02/15/2024 Implementation of a Tariff change effective on and after February 15, 2024, reflecting Board approval of the Margin Adjustment Charge applicable to Rate Schedules: RSG, GSG, LVG, SLG and TSG-F.
Effective 10/01/2023 Implementation of Tariff changes, effective on and after October 1, 2023, as per Board approval of changes to the Universal Service Fund (USF) & Lifeline Program components of the Societal Benefits Charge (SBC), Also, a change to the Conservation Incentive Program (CIP) charge or credit, applicable to Rate Schedules RSG, GSG and LVG. Additionally, there was Provisional Approval of the Basic Gas Supply Service - RSG Commodity Charge (BGSS-RSG) and the Balancing Charge applicable to Rate Schedules: RSG, GSG, LVG and CSG.
Effective 08/01/2023 Implementation of a Tariff change effective on and after August 1, 2023 as per Board approval of the 2022 Tax Adjustment Credits (TAC).
Effective 06/01/2023 Implementation of Tariff changes, effective on and after June 1, 2023, reflecting Board approval of changes associated with the Gas Modernization Program II (GSMP II) adjustments to the Gas Distribution Charges and the Basic Gas Supply Service-RSG Commodity Charge applicable to Rate Schedule RSG, as well as, changes to the Green Programs Recovery Charges (GPRC).
Effective 05/01/2023 Implementation of Tariff changes, effective on and after May 1, 2023, reflecting Board approval of changes associated with the Energy Strong II (ES II Roll-In) adjustments to Gas Distribution Charges and the Basic Gas Supply Service - RSG Commodity Charge applicable to Rate Schedule RSG, as well as, a decrease to the annual Basic Gas Supply Service-RSG Off-Peak (BGSS-RSGOP) rate.

Effective 10/01/2022 Implementation of Tariff changes, effective on and after October 1, 2022, as per Board approval of the new Conservation Incentive Program (CIP) charge or credit, applicable to Rate Schedules RSG, GSG and LVG. Also, implementation of Tariff changes reflecting Provisional Board Approval of the Basic Gas Supply Service - RSG Commodity Charge (BGSS-RSG) and Provisional Approval of the Balancing Charge applicable to Rate Schedules: RSG, GSG, LVG and CSG. Effective 07/01/2022 Implementation of a Tariff change for the 2021 Program rates effective on and after July 1, 2022 as per Board approval of changes to the Green Programs Recovery Charge (GPRC).
Effective 06/15/2022 Implementation of Tariff changes effective on and after June 15, 2022 as per Board approval of the 2021 Program rates associated with the Green Programs Recovery Charge (GPRC) and changes to the Tax Adjustment Credits (TAC).
Effective 06/01/2022 Implementation of a Tariff change effective on and after June 1, 2022 as per Board approval of the suspension of the Weather Normalization Charge (WNC). Also, changes to the Basic Gas Supply Service - RSG (BGSS-RSG) rate and the Distribution Charges associated with the Gas Modernization Program II (GSMP II) and the Energy Strong II (ES II) Program adjustments.
Effective 05/01/2022 Implementation of Tariff changes effective on and after May 1, 2022 as per Board approval of a change to the Weather Normalization Charge (WNC) and an increase to the Basic Gas Supply Service - RSG Off-Peak (BGSS-RSGOP) rate. Also, Final Board Approval of the previously implemented Provisional Basic Gas Supply Service - RSG Commodity Charge (BGSS-RSG) and the Provisional Balancing Charge applicable to Rate Schedules RSG, GSG, LVG, and CSG; which went in to effect on December 1, 2021.
Effective 02/01/2022 Implementation of a Tariff change effective on and after February 1, 2022 for a Self-Implementing Increase to the Basic Gas Supply Service - RSG Commodity Charge applicable to Rate Schedule RSG.
Effective 12/01/2021 Implementation of Tariff changes effective on and after December 1, 2021 as per Board approval of the Gas System Modernization Program and its associated Cost Recovery Mechanism (June 2021 GSMP II Rate Filing Roll-In) and an increase in the Basic Gas Supply Service - RSG Commodity Charge applicable to Rate Schedule RSG. Also, approval of a change to the Margin Adjustment Charge (MAC).

Effective 10/01/2020 Implementation of Tariff changes effective on and after October 1, 2020 as per Board approval of changes to: the Societal Benefits Charge (SBC, for USF/Lifeline & RAC 27); the Green Programs Recovery Charge (GPRC, for the new Clean Energy Future – Energy Efficiency {CEF-EE} Program); and the Weather Normalization Charge (WNC). Also, implementation of rate changes associated with a change to the Gas Supply Service - RSG Commodity Charge (BGSS-RSG) and to the Balancing Charge applicable to RSG, GSG & LVG Rate Schedules.

In addition, implementation of Tariff changes effective March 1, 2020 reflecting the Final Board Approval of the previously implemented Provisional Basic Gas Supply Service-RSG Commodity Charge (BGSS-RSG) and the Provisional Balancing Charge, which went into effect on January 1, 2020 and October 1, 2019, respectively.
Effective 02/01/2020 Implementation of Tariff changes effective February 1, 2020 as per Board approval of changes to the Societal Benefits Charge (SBC, for Social Programs and the Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Programs); the Margin Adjustment Charge (MAC); the Green Programs Recovery Charge (GPRC); and the 2020 Tax Adjustment Credits (TAC). Also, implementation of a Two-Month Bill Credit applicable to the BGSS-RSG Commodity charge for usage during the period of February 1, 2020 through and including March 31, 2020.
Effective 01/01/2020 Implementation of a Tariff change for a self-implementing rate reduction to the Company's Basic Gas Supply Service - RSG Commodity Charge (BGSS-RSG) applicable to residential customers effective on and after January 1, 2020.
Effective 12/01/2019 Implementation of a Tariff change effective December 1, 2019 as per Board approval of increases to the Gas Base Rates for recovery of the Gas Systems Modernization Program II (GSMP II).

 Effective 01/01/2019 Implementation of Tariff changes effective January 1, 2019 as per Board approval of rate changes associated with the Gas System Modernization Program ( GSMP). The Tax Adjustment Credits were updated to reflect the 2019 credits.

Issued in conformance with the BPU Order in Docket Nos. ER18010029, GR18010030, AX18010001 and ER18030231 reflecting changes as a result of the Company’s Electric and Gas Base Rate Case, including depreciation rates, and an offsetting reduction in tax rates due to the recently enacted federal tax reform legislation, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, and the flow back of certain tax benefits. Also, implementation of Tariff changes to the Electric and Gas Green Programs Recovery Charges (GPRC); to the Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) Remediation component of the Electric and Gas Societal Benefits Charge (SBC), during the Remediation Adjustment Charge (RAC) 25 Period, August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2017; and to revise the Company’s Weather Normalization Charge (WNC) for the 2018-2019 Annual Period.
