PSE&G has completed the gas main upgrades in your neighborhood.  Now that the ground has settled, we will restore roads with permanent paving.  We will be milling and paving the roads listed below.

Milling and paving activities are scheduled to start on or about April 14, 2026, weather permitting. Overnight work hours are between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., Monday through Friday, with potential for weekend work. Schedules are estimates, weather dependent, and subject to change. As with any construction project, you will experience changes in traffic patterns, loud noise and the presence of heavy equipment and machinery. Please follow all road closures and detours on the streets listed below.

Lakeview Avenue North Detours will start on Lakeview Avenue North and Clifton Avenue

Continuing through Clifton Avenue to Lexington Avenue, Christie Avenue and back to Lakeview Avenue

Lakeview Ave South Detours will start on Lakeview Avenue South and Trimble Avenue

Continuing through Lexington Avenue to Clifton Avenue and back to Lakeview Avenue

Piaget Avenue East Detours will start on Piaget Avenue East and 5^th Street

Continuing through Barkley Avenue to Main Avenue, Clifton Avenue to Lexington Avenue

Piaget Avenue West Detours will start on Piaget Ave West and Lexington Avenue

Continuing through Clifton Avenue to Main Avenue, Barkley Avenue to Montgomery

Please abide by all emergency “No Parking” signs, as they will be posted 24 hours before work is scheduled to begin on each street.

Our goal is to complete this work with minimal impact to your neighborhood.  Police will be directing traffic, and residents will be able to drive on the roads during non-paving hours.
