PSE&G to upgrade gas facilities in Florham Park
PSE&G is committed to providing the best, most reliable gas service, while mitigating any risks to outages and supply. As part of this commitment, PSE&G has been installing a new modernized regulator at the intersection of Hanover Road and Columbia Turnpike in Florham Park, as an upgrade to the existing outdated regulator at the intersection of Ridgedale Avenue and Columbia Turnpike.
This upgrade will allow PSE&G to more closely monitor and control the gas system supporting Florham Park and the neighboring municipalities.
Some direct benefits of this upgrade include the removal of aging and leaking gas mains within the vicinity of the station, the installation of a new underground regulator station, with new controls, and upgrading the gas mains leading up to the regulator station.
PSE&G will be completing the gas work by the end of the summer, with full restoration expected to be completed by the spring of 2026. We appreciate your patience while we upgrade our system.
