Solicitation Results & Available Capacity

Please see the amount of program capacity that will be available for the 27th solicitation, accepting applications February 19 - March 8, 2019.

Any program capacity previously conditionally allocated to projects that are rejected or withdrawn will be added to capacity available for Solicitation 27.

*Please be advised that consistent with the Board of Public Utilities approval order for the Solar Loan III Program, on September 30, 2015 PSE&G submitted a compliance notice to the Board of its intent to amend the Solar Loan III Program Rules for an exception with respect to awarding capacity to solar photovoltaic projects sized up to 2MW as follows:

“If, after any solicitation, the Large Non-Res segment is undersubscribed, the project size limitation for this segment shall be removed for the following and all subsequent solicitations. If, in a subsequent solicitation, approved projects under 2 MW overfill the Large Non-Res segment capacity block, the 2 MW limit shall be reinstated for the next subsequent solicitation.”

The amendment to the Program Rules became effective ten business days after submission to the Board and will be incorporated into PSE&G’s Program Rules going forward.

** Please be advised that the capacity from the Res-Aggregated Segment has been reallocated to the Large Non-Residential Segment.  Applications will no longer be accepted in the Res-Aggregated Segment.

The table below summarizes the results from the 26th Solar Loan III Program solicitation held in December 2018.  PSE&G notified successful participants of their conditional acceptance subject to a further review of additional criteria such as credit, interconnection and engineering review.  Any program capacity conditionally allocated to projects that are rejected or withdrawn will be added to the current solicitation.  Any program capacity not utilized during the 27th solicitation will be added to the respective segment capacity for the 28th solicitation (if deemed necessary).

The most recent extension of the Solar Loan Program allows PSE&G to provide financing for 97.5 megawatts-dc of solar capacity in our electric service territory. Capacity will be allocated per the below schedule subject to market demand. The residential and small non-residential segments are set-asides. Any unused capacity from the residential aggregated segment from the fourth solicitation will be added to the fifth solicitation. All other underutilized capacity may be reallocated to other oversubscribed segments for that same solicitation.
