Residential or commercial customers must apply to PSE&G to add or increase service for gas generators or tankless hot water heaters, or to request excess flow valves.
IMPORTANT: what you need to know before you apply
- Buildings with four or more residential units should apply using the commercial form.
- It can take up to six weeks to complete gas generator projects.
- You will need the specification sheet for your new equipment to fill out the application.
- You will need to provide a site plan if you are requesting service for a location that does not have a foundation.
