What is The Comfort Partners Program?

Comfort Partners is part of New Jersey's Clean Energy Program - a program funded by the state of New Jersey's Board of Public Utilities, which is administered through a partnership between BPU and New Jersey gas and electric public utilities.

Who is eligible for the Comfort Partners Program?

Comfort Partners allows qualified PSE&G income eligible, residential customers to receive this free energy saving and energy education program.

For family units with more than 8 family members:
Add $227 to the weekly income, $983 to the monthly income, or $11,800 to the yearly income for each additional member.

  • Life Line
  • Temporary Assistance for Needy families
  • General Assistance (GA)
  • Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled (PAAD)
  • Universal Service Fund (USF)
  • Medicaid
  • Section 8 Housing
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)


In addition to a FREE ASSESSMENT, your NO COST upgrade may include:

  • Insulation upgrades
  • Efficient lighting products
  • Air sealing
  • Tune-ups of heating/cooling equipment
  • Ductwork sealing/repair
  • Hot water conservation
  • Refrigerator and/or freezer replacement
  • Personalized energy counseling
  • Thermostats 
  • And other measures.
