(NEWARK, N.J. – February 22, 2022) (NEWARK, N.J. – February 22, 2022) Much has changed since Public Service Corp. was founded in 1903, but our steadfast commitment to powering progress has remained. Our vision is to power a future where we help our customers use less energy, and it’s cleaner, safer and delivered more reliably than ever.

Engineers use models provided by science combined with innovative thinking to solve problems and create new designs that benefit humanity. Electrical engineering involves design, testing, manufacturing, construction, control, monitoring and inspection of electrical and electronic devices, machinery and systems.

From field engineers to the engineers who design, build and maintain our transmission network, electric stations, gas and electric distribution systems and generating stations, PSE&G employs a diverse team of over 300 engineers who are essential to everything we do to deliver safe and reliable electric and natural gas service to our customers.

At PSE&G, we believe that an environment of diversity, equity and inclusion fosters innovation, strengthens our workforce, and improves our ability to serve customers. A diverse work force creates diversity of thought which is critical to achieve innovation.  We are proud to share that about 40% of PSE&G engineers are people of color.  Read PSEG's 2021 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Report to learn more about why diversity, equity and inclusion are among PSEG’s Core Commitments.
