Vice President - Asset Management and Planning

Ed Gray

Ed Gray is vice president – Asset Management and Planning at PSE&G. In this role he is responsible for electric and gas asset strategy, asset reliability, electric delivery planning, gas system operations and technical services, utility business performance and improvement, utility finance support, basic generation services and basic gas supply services, and energy supplier services.

Mr. Gray has worked for PSE&G for more than 35 years and has held a variety of positions. Prior to his current role, Mr. Gray served as the Senior Director of Asset Strategy, Technology and Systemsat PSE&G where he oversaw the engineering and standards for all electric transmission and distribution facilities, reliability centered maintenance, project origination and various aspects of NERC compliance.  Prior to that position, he oversaw reliability programs at both PSE&G and PSE&GLI and was involved in the program development, regulatory approval and execution of PSE&G’s Energy Strong 1, Energy Strong 2 and the current Infrastructure Advancement Program.

Other relevant experience includes overseeing electric service policy, solar interconnections and being a utility team lead for service management and plant maintenance SAP work management implementations with integrated mobile applications at PSE&G for both Electric and Gas Distribution.

He is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey, has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
