Price to Compare - Electric & Gas
Your Price to Compare (PTC) is the price that Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G) will charge for the supply portion of your electric or gas service. For residential customers, your PTC can be found on your bill each month. It is based on your actual kilowatt-hours (kWh) used each month for residential electric customers or your actual therms used each month for residential gas customers. The PTC for commercial customers is based on the actual kilowatt-hours (kWh) and kilowatt (KW) used for electric customers or actual therms used for gas customers. If a third-party supplier’s price per kWh or KW or therm is less than your listed PTC, you could save the difference between those prices by choosing that supplier.
Here are the PTC Rates for PSE&G. Your actual PTC will differ based upon your individual usage. If you are not sure of your rate class, you can find it on the first page of your bill just above your account summary.
