13th Annual Oradell 5K & Fun Run

The 13th Annual Oradell 5k & Fun Run is one of Oradell’s  highly attended events with 900+ runners this year. Families enjoy a day of arts & crafts and great giveaways from local sponsors and vendors. Our very own, Rohanie Dimitriou, PSE&G Outreach Specialist, was also a participant in the race and came in 3rd for her age group.








Meadowlands Thought Leaders

On Friday, September 27, 2019, the PSE&G Gas Construction Outreach team participated in the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce Thought Leaders Conference. PSE&G’s attendance at the event highlighted the benefits of the statewide GSMP II program and investment in the Meadowlands region.









New Milford Fire Department 5k Run Walk

New Milford, NJ is home to one of Bergen County’s highly anticipated 5k’s! The race attracted over 1000 runners in 2019. Families enjoy a day of live music and fun activities for all. Free breakfast and lunch is provided to participants by local businesses and vendors.  








Tuesdays in the Plaza

PSEG staffed a booth at the weekly “Tuesday at the Plaza” event in Paterson which ran from June until September. Staff who attended the event were able to answer questions regarding upcoming projects and handed out giveaways.








Sustainable Jersey

On Friday, June 14, 2019, the PSE&G Gas Construction Outreach team participated in Sustainable Jersey’s 10th Annual Sustainability Summit. Sustainable Jersey, a non-profit supported by the PSEG Foundation, provides training and support to communities pursuing sustainability programs. PSE&G’s attendance at the event highlighted the benefits of the statewide GSMP II program, including reduced methane gas leaks and replacement of old gas main with new, safer, and more efficient pipelines.





Senior Extravaganza, Resource and Wellness Fair

PSE&G outreach specialist, Rohanie Dimitriou, staffed a table at the Senior Extravaganza, Resource and Wellness Fair, Totowa. The Passaic County annual event attracts hundreds of senior citizens who take part in activities that promotes wellness and social connection.








Sacco 5k - North Bergen

On Saturday June 8, 2019, the Gas Construction Outreach team participated in the Sacco 5K in Braddock Park in North Bergen. The proceeds of this charitable event will provide funding for the Nicholas J. Sacco Foundation. The recent funding consisted of tax services for seniors in our community and various scholarships for North Bergen High School students. PSE&G’s attendance at the event highlighted the benefits of the GSMP II Program in North Bergen including reduced methane gas leaks, replacement of aged pipelines and making pipelines safer and more efficient.





Waldwick Chamber of Commerce 5k

On Sunday May 5th, 2019, PSE&G Outreach team member Rohanie Dimitriou staffed a table at the annual Waldwick Chamber of Commerce 5k for the second year in a row. PSE&G’s attendance at the event highlighted the benefits of the GSMP II Program in North Bergen including reduced methane gas leaks, replacement of aged pipelines and making pipelines safer and more efficient.










Earth Day - Hudson County

On Saturday April 27, 2019, the Gas Construction Outreach team participated in the Hudson County Earth day in Liberty State Park, in Jersey City. The event was focused on Hudson County promoting Earth Day initiatives. Hudson County is committed to energy efficiency and, through this event, educated residents on how to reduce their carbon footprint. PSE&G’s attendance at the event highlighted the benefits of the GSMP II Program in Hudson County including reduced methane gas leaks, replacement of aged pipelines and making pipelines safer and more efficient in many Hudson County municipalities.




Little Falls Green Fair

On Saturday, March 30, 2019, Gas Construction Outreach and Energy Services participated in the Little Falls Green Fair. Andrew Aliferis presented on behalf of PSEG and highlighted a myriad of our programs including Comfort Partners. We were able to share the good work that is done by the program, and by association, PSE&G, with a receptive and inquisitive audience. The Little Falls Mayor, James Damiano, attended the event and we were able to explain the benefits the Comfort Partners Program has offered to his constituents. Mayor Damiano said he was an advocate for the program.
